A HOLIDAY cottage marketing company that provides individual websites for property owners is relaunching its website for 2014.
My Holiday Marketing was started by Rick Bond and Harry Roberts three years ago and now markets 50 cottages across the country.
The business employs two full-time employees as well as freelance staff.
"Growth has come almost entirely from recommendation," said Harry Roberts.
"People like the customer service. We market each cottage individually with their own website. We have to know that cottage as well as the owner as people are phoning us and asking us questions about it."
Harry added that this approach enabled My Holiday Marketing to be really flexible so it can make changes that owners want. The business also runs www.myfavourite holidaycottages.co.uk, a directory site which lists more than 500 UK holiday properties.
Harry and Rick got the idea for the new marketing material for their website from their clients: "They said they liked the way we work because 'we work for them' and we made them feel like individuals and trusted us to truly understand their cottage as well as they do and that we go beyond expectations to handle any queries or problems that may occur."
The imagery includes photos of actual clients shown in clothing representing their work or leisure activities, while one photo features a client's dogs. The photographs were taken by Barnstaple photographer Tony Atkinson of Just Focus Photography and the creative concept developed by Mark Thake of The Idea Engine, both in Barnstaple.
"As 95% of our growth has come from client referrals we know that our personal approach is liked by our clients and by those who are introduced to us," concluded Harry.
The website will be launched in January at www.myholiday marketing.co.uk.
