BECOMING a toy tester is the dream of most children, but for one Hatherleigh youngster this dream has become a reality.
Harry Edwards Brady has been appointed as the official ambassador of the internationally renowned toy manufacturer Tomy.
As part of the role, the three-year-old will be given the opportunity to test and review all the company’s Britains Big Farm toys before they hit the shops.
The youngster is no stranger to fame after hitting the headlines last year when he became the youngest competitor at the prestigious Horse of the Year show.
After hitting the national press, he was offered the role at Tomy when he revealed that his favourite toy was a John Deere Britains Big Farm tractor.
Emilia Lawes, senior sales and marketing manager across Tomy’s farm ranges said: ‘‘I am delighted to have Harry on board for 2014.
“Harry is a super star horse rider in the making and we were thrilled to find out that he is such a fan.
“Harry is a perfect fit for the range and we are truly excited to have him as our ambassador.”
All of his reviews will be posted to the Britains Farm Toy Facebook page.
Parents Emma and Sean said the role with Tomy had been a dream come true for Harry.
Mum Emma said: “Harry is so excited and we are delighted that Britains got in touch and have chosen Harry to be their toy testing ambassador.”
In addition to his ambassador role, Harry will be competing again this year at many regional county shows.
He is hoping to qualify for the 2014 Horse of the Year Show on Moortown Divine, his 11-hands-high Dartmoor pony.
