Harpist Ruth Faber joins Northam Chroal Society in Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols

TOP concert harpist Ruth Faber joins Northam Choral Society in Benjamin Britten's Ceremony Of Carols on Friday. The choir is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Britten's birth.

Before moving to Bath, Ruth was resident harpist at Harrods and principal harpist of the Royal Ballet Sinfonia.

She's also a favourite with royalty having played for the Queen, Prince Phillip, The Duchess of Gloucester and the late Queen Mother.

The concert includes carols, mulled wine and mince pies.

Northam Choral Society Christmas concert is at St Mary's Church, Bideford on Friday, December 6, 7.30pm. Tickets £6 at the door. Free entry for students and children.
