A POPULAR Tiverton gallery is showing work by two of the South West's leading artists.
Batik, sculpted and painted pieces by Nancy Pickard and Jo Whiteland will be exhibited at Lantic Gallery in Gold Street, until October 19.
Nancy is renowned for her vibrant paintings of the Cornish landscape and her sculptural jewellery which have been shown at events in Penzance and New Brewery Arts, Cirencester.
Jo Whiteland is an accomplished batik artist and her limited edition textile prints have been shown at the gallery for a number of years.
Sandra Hare, of Lantic Gallery, said: "For the first time the gallery will be showing a collection of her exquisite, original framed batiks.
"Jo's inspiration is the natural world and she works on white cotton fabric using traditional was pens, wax and dyes building up layers to give depth, texture and colour to her striking work."
Jo has exhibited widely in the West Country and SWLA open exhibition in London.
