Ilfracombe Town were knocked out of the FA Vase after extra time with a 3-2 defeat at St Blazey this afternoon.
Stan Paxton twice gave Combe the lead in Cornwall but an own goal from Liam Craze saw the Carlsberg South West Peninsula side go through.
Dave Painter, the Blazey goalkeeper, had a fine game to deny the visitors on numerous occasions.
Paxton put Ilfracombe ahead in the first half, following up to score after Painter saved his initial effort.
Danny Zalick lobbed Kurtis Parkin for the equaliser in the 72nd minute but Ilfracombe instantly restored their advantage with a powerful finish from Paxton.
Josh Sims, the substitute, then beat Parkin with a superb left-footed strike to bring Blazey level again in the 86th minute.
And the hosts clinched the win when Craze, the substitute, could only turn a cross from Jordan Greatrex into his own net in the first half of extra time.
After defeat to Plymouth Parkway in the FA Cup last week, it was Ilfracombe's second loss to a team from the Peninsula League this season.
They return to action in the Toolstation Western League next Saturday with a trip to Cadbury Heath.
