AN email marketing service developed by Bishop's Tawton-based Inventive Web has been redeveloped and rebranded as a result of its success. Inventive Web developed the system in response to customer needs and fast take-up has led to its redevelopment and relaunch as m@ilexpert.
"We found it proved very popular and outgrew the server we hosted it on," said Howard Thomson, digital accounts manager at Inventive Web.
Now hosted on a new server with increased capacity, m@ilexpert includes new advanced triggers which allow users to manage distribution with even more ease. These enable users to send a personalised email on a specific date, such as greeting for a client's birthday, or to send a follow-up email to anyone clicking a link in a message.
m@ilexpert is run by Inventive Web's four-strong web team, who provide personal telephone support to clients. The system enables users to design email campaigns online or use preformatted templates and to import contact lists with thousands of email addresses quickly and easily. Once sent to target lists, users can track the delivery, open rates and clicked links to collect valuable sales data.
m@ilexpert is suitable for all sizes of business with some clients sending several hundred emails a month and others sending several hundred thousand. On average the system handles more than 1 million emails every month.
Pricing is based solely on how many emails a client sends and is also flexible, enabling increases during key months of the year such as over Christmas.
Inventive Web's web and print clients include Brend Hotels, Dymond Engineering, Home Hardware, Mole Valley Farmers, the Old Rectory Hotel, Sandy Cove Hotel and Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park.
