FOLK will be going crackers, if not a bit quackers, in Braunton this Bank Holiday Monday. Yellow ducks will be floating down the River Caen in the annual St Brannock's Duck Race.
There will be stalls selling books, jams, preserves, plants and cakes. There will also be a tombola, a raffle, pony rides, cream teas and a barbecue.
The finale is the Grand Race where all the winners are pitted against each other to find the Duck Of The Year. Prizes will be awarded for the winning duck in each race with a grand prize for Duck Of The Year.
The fundraising event for St Brannock's Church is on Monday, August 26, noon until 4pm, at the River Caen at Deans Bridge, Church Street and in the Vicarage Garden.
