DISPLAYS of unique artwork, created by pupils from a local special needs school, go on show this December.
The exhibition by students at Pathfield School aims to demonstrate the inspirational work created by children who have complex and multiple special needs and severe learning difficulties; and highlight their remarkable talent, imagination and artistic skills.
"This exhibition is a celebration of what can be achieved through determination, dedication and skill – with many of the exhibits being created by children and young people who have overcome many difficulties and disabilities to achieve their creations," said Pathfield School's head teacher Claire May.
Wheelchairs, walking frames, industrial materials, textured materials, utensils and sports equipment were all used to help create these unique pieces of work.
The art work is for sale, with the proceeds going to the school's hydrotherapy pool project.
The exhibition in the Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe runs until January 7.
