EMILY BALE was named best shooter at the Oldenburg Junior International in Germany.
It was a superb competition for the Bale family, who are all members of Braunton Target Shooting Club, with Emily and her brother Dean both winning gold medals and helping set British junior records.
Emily took individual gold in the women's 10m air rifle and team gold with a new British junior female record of 1,196.5.
She also won team gold for the .22 three-position category of kneeling, prone and standing, as well as team bronze for the .22 prone.
Dean brought home medals from every event entered, including individual and team gold at 3x40, kneeling, prone and standing, where he scored a personal best of 1,126.
He went on to claim individual bronze in the 10m air rifle, plus team gold with a new British junior men's record of 1,801.4. Dean also helped his team earn bronze for .22 prone.
