THERE'S erotic chills and scares aplenty when Heartbreak perform a classic gothic horror story in Torrington's Vicarage Garden on Saturday.
The open-air production of Dracula promises to be a potent and passion-filled drama.
Audiences will see a malicious and seductive Count Dracula wreak havoc on innocence and purity. Not for the faint hearted, the story is told by a team of Victorian undertakers who take the audience on a thrilling journey from Transylvanian castles to Whitby Abbey, via the morgues and asylums of London
The drama follows Lucy, beloved by everyone, as she tries to resist the intoxicating and seductive onslaught from Count Dracula. However, Dr Van Helsing's attempt to save her fails as he and his accomplices wreak havoc in their chase back to Transylvania to rid the world of Dracula.
This promises to be a unique open-air adaptation of Bram Stoker's original novel, which has inspired plenty of spin offs including TV shows and films like Buffy and Twilight.
Heartbreak's inventive style promises a fresh, original and sexy version. So grab your crucifixes, arm yourself with garlic and pack a picnic.
