HEAD to the George Hotel on Friday and you can enjoy a classical concert, a fun lively gypsy-folk romp, an opera, a stand-up comedy set and a brilliant dance show, all rolled into one.
Graffiti Classics are out to burst the elitist boundaries of a traditional string quartet with an hilarious all-singing, all-dancing musical comedy cabaret show.
From Beethoven to Bluegrass and Offenbach to Elvis, Strauss and Saturday Night Fever, the music they play is somewhat diverse. Kids and adults alike are said to love the uplifting variety of musical styles, all tied together with cheeky audience interaction.
"In each of our programmes we love to be able to offer uplifting family entertainment, and Graffiti Classics fits the bill perfectly for our Autumn/Winter 2013 calendar," said Cathy Doel, owner of The George.
"The evening will be an ideal opportunity for families to introduce their children to the wonders of live music, with some classical scores mixed in with popular pieces. Their performance is very physical, as well as containing some great musicianship."
