A HAT-TRICK from Marc Clark gave Appledore victory in the only North Devon League premier division match to beat the weather this weekend.

Leading 1-0 against Bradworthy at half time, two late strikes from Clark completed a 3-0 win at Marshford, moving the Fishermen up to tenth in the table.

Fremington have gone three points clear at the top of the senior division after a 3-1 win at Merton thanks to Ryan Crompton, Mark Sanders (penalty) and Andy King.

Merton had taken the lead with a close-range header from Sam Davey.

In intermediate one, Hartland beat Northside Atlantic 4-1 with goals from Joe Dakin, Richard Davey, Dan Slee and Dominic Allin.
