Chris Snell is set to return at full back when Bideford host Hornets in Tribute South West One West tomorrow.
Snell missed last weekend’s defeat to leaders Cleve with a knee injury.
Fly half Neil Giddy, who was also ruled out of the Cleve game by a knee injury, is not able to return. Olly Wickett, back in the first team after nearly a year out with a shoulder injury, will continue in the No 10 shirt.
After getting their first wins of the season against Cullompton and Sidmouth, Bideford slipped to a 44-5 defeat at Cleve who scored three tries in the closing stages.
Head coach Mark Priest said: “We perhaps became a bit fatigued and were making basic errors in defence.
“I have been pleased with our fitness, it’s more about mental fitness than physical.”
Hornets, from Weston-super-Mare, have won their last two games against Sidmouth (36-5) and Chard (36-7) to climb to fifth place in the South West One West table. Bideford are third from bottom.
