DAN Gorvett is a Chinese medicine practitioner, acupuncturist and tai chi instructor based in Bideford. Drawing on his experience of living and studying in China, Dan uses foods that have medicinal properties for the body.
Dan's winter warmer recipe is South East Asian potato soup that includes potatoes and coconut cream, ginger to dispel cold from the body, garlic to move stagnant energy and lemon to assist the lungs in breaking down phlegm.
