A one-year-old child was freed from a locked car after firefighters smashed the window of the vehicle in Lynton last night.
One fire engine from the village was called to the incident in Burvill Street at around 6pm.
Upon arrival at the scene crews confirmed a baby locked inside the car, with the keys still inside the vehicle.
Firefighters were forced to smash a window of the car after having difficulty getting in using tools.
The one-year-old, who was uninjured, was freed and reunited with a parent.
