Boca Seniors have completed an unbeaten season in the North Devon League.
After clinching the Premier Division title with a 3-0 win at Fremington on Saturday, the Barnstaple club beat Dolton 9-0 in their final fixture this evening.
Having received the league trophy at the Tarka Tennis Centre before kick-off, Boca were determined to round off their campaign in style.
Matt Deakin scored a hat-trick, Ciaron Lishman and Darren Floyde got two each and Jimmy Hill and Elliot Whitecross claimed the singles.
A 10th goal would have given them a goal difference of plus-100 – surpassing the total of runners-up Braunton – and despite pushing hard to the final whistle, they were not able to reach that target.
That will be of little concern after an outstanding season in which Boca have won 28 and drawn two of their 30 league games.
Dolton, remain third from bottom and still have two fixtures to play at home to Barnstaple AAC on Wednesday and Georgeham and Croyde next Saturday.
