CELEBRATE the end of the summer holidays with a fun day out at a Big Adventure Day on Exmoor.
The free, family event is at North Hill above Minehead this Saturday.
It will be chance to see a parade of Second World War vintage military vehicles and learn about the hidden history of North Hill, including the story of the old radar station which will be open to the public especially for the event.
People will also be able to have a go at the orienteering challenge, take part in family-friendly games and activities and go eco with the Wild Curiosities Corner and the Conservation Task.
"The Big Adventures are a great free family day out and we always get a fantastic turn out," said national park ranger Adam Vasey.
"The North Hill Big Adventure should be as good as ever with military vehicle displays, guided walks and nature detective activities. If you haven't been to an event before then come along and try it out."
The Big Adventure Day is on Saturday, August 31, 10am to 4pm and is hosted by Exmoor National Park Authority and the Heart of Exmoor Scheme.
