Bideford will be aiming to strengthen their Calor League Premier Division play-off position with a victory at home to Hungerford Town tomorrow.

The new year starts with a tough run of fixtures for the Robins with two games against leaders Hemel Hemstead Town next week.

Ahead of that testing double header which starts with a trip to Hemel on Tuesday, fourth-placed Bideford will hope to extend their unbeaten run to four games.

Weather permitting, it will be their first match at the Sports Ground since the goalless draw with Truro City on Boxing Day.

Hungerford are in mid-table having won promotion via the South and West Division play-offs last season. After thrashing Truro 6-0 at the end of November, they lost three games in a row before the excellent 3-1 victory over St Albans City on Saturday.

The last time the two sides met was in April 2012 when a penalty from Matt Hockley gave Bideford, the newly-crowned South and West champions, a 1-0 win.

Previous meetings – April 21, 2012: Bideford 1 Hungerford Town 0 (Hockley penalty).

October 29, 2011: Hungerford Town 1 Bideford 2 (Wood, Groves).

March 19, 2011: Bideford 0 Hungerford Town 0.

November 13, 2010: Hungerford Town 3 Bideford 0.
