Bideford have signed Ashley Yeoman on a three-month loan from Torquay United.
The forward is returning for a second spell at the Sports Ground after a successful loan in 2010 when his 12 goals helped secure the Toolstation Western League title.
"It's a great signing for us," said Sean Joyce, the Bideford manager.
"Ashley can play up front, he can play behind the front two or he can play right wing.
"He was outstanding for us (in 2010) and don't forget he was only a kid at the time.
"He's a third-year pro now. He needs games and I want to thank Torquay United and Chris Brass and Alan Knill (the Torquay assistant and manager) for letting him come out."
Yeoman is a friend of Saul Halpin, the Bideford winger, and is well known to many of the squad from his previous spell with the club.
In March, he scored two goals for Torquay against Bideford in the Devon St Luke's Cup semi-final at Plainmoor.
Bideford have an opportunity to continue their strong start in the Calor League with home matches against Corby Town on Saturday and Chippenham Town on Tuesday.
