Former Barnstaple scrum half Ben Vellacott is line for a place in Scotland's squad for the RBS Under-20s Six Nations.
After a four-day camp at Murrayfield last week, Vellacott was today named in a 26-man group.
They will meet for a final three-day session next week before Scotland's Six Nations campaign kicks off against Ireland in Athlone on January 31.
Vellacott, from Mortehoe, qualifies for Scotland through his mother.
Last spring, he played for his adopted country in the European Under-18 Championships.
He was a regular at scrum half for Barnstaple last season while playing and training with the Exeter Chiefs Academy.
He joined Worcester Warriors in the summer and has been loaned to National League Two South leaders Hartpury College.
