Barnstaple Town will aim to halt the progress of one of the Toolstation Western League’s form teams tomorrow.
Shepton Mallet travel to Mill Road boosted by a run of only one defeat in 18 First Division games.
On Wednesday, they kept up their promotion bid with a 3-0 win at Calne Town with goals from Lee Davidson, Ashley Willmott and Dave Stone.
Shepton are second in the table, five points clear of third-placed Welton Rovers who beat Barnstaple 2-1 last week.
Barnstaple can take encouragement from their result in the away fixture at Shepton Mallet when Lee Francis, Scott Sharp and Ryan Turner secured a 3-2 win in September.
Town have won three and lost three of their six league games since Barry Yeo took over as manager in December.
With promotion seemingly unrealistic this season, Yeo and Karl Baggaley, the assistant manager, are assessing their squad with the aim of making a challenge next term.
Barnstaple fans will have the opportunity to watch their team at home for only the second time in 2014.
The previous game, on January 11, saw them beat Oldland Abbotonians 4-3 with goals from Aaron Harper-Penman, Jack Jenkins and two penalties from Billy Tucker.
