BARNSTAPLE TOWN have appointed the youngest manager in the club's history.
Tom Bulley, aged 22, was announced as the new boss at Mill Road this afternoon.
He succeeds Dave Griffiths, who resigned in November after four months in charge.
Bulley did not have the greatest introduction to life as Barnstaple manager as he saw them crash to an 8-0 defeat to Bishop Sutton.
He takes over a side seven points adrift at the bottom of the Toolstation Western League premier division.
Ilfracombe Town's fixture at Brislington was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
The Bluebirds are at home to Bitton next Saturday.

It would have been nice to have some background information on this young manager. Any one know him & his football history. He's young but dose not mean he will do any worse than any other candidate that applied for the job. He must have the right credentials that the Chairman trust's so that he can carry out the demands that are needed to turn things around at Barnstaple. I do hope so for your club & most importantly the supporters. Not the greatest start as a manager but he will need time to sort out a team that can compete consistently every week in western league. I wish him success.
