CAGE FIGHTING

WILL LOMAS came out on top in all areas in his first fight.

The 16-year-old was one of seven fighters from Barnstaple Combat Sports competing in a show at Exmouth Pavilions.

Lomas took the win against Lewis Clarke in a match that had everything: punching, kicking, takedowns and groundwork.

Ali Hore needed just 13 seconds to finish Lee Durrant with a knockout uppercut.

Leighton Williams was on top form to dominate Joe Greenway, finishing the fight in the first round.

Raivo Vidins was caught early by undefeated Sam Stockdale and although he fought back bravely the referee stopped the fight to save further punishment.

Kirk Lee gave away 15kg to Mike Fielding and was stopped in the second round; Phill Whittley was second best to Dave Nash; and Simon Partridge was beaten in the third round against Daryl Grant.
