BARNSTAPLE Buccaneers have completed a double over Bideford Nomads.

The hosts scored six tries on their way to a 38-7 win at Pottington Road on Saturday, to add to their 12-10 victory in the away fixture in October.

Andrew Swales, Ben Lugsden, Christopher Allin, Russell Copsey, Mark Manley and Martin Southworth scored the tries for Barnstaple.

Nathan Gosling kicked four conversions.

Barnstaple had a man sent off for verbal abuse and saw Jamie Arnold leave the field with a dislocated elbow.

Bideford found new life after the Buccs' final score and played some fine attacking rugby.

Shaun Woodhead capped a good performance with a sprint from halfway for a try he converted himself.

Sam Brown, in the back row, was the Nomads man of the match.
