THE audience gets to choose the ending of an innovative theatre show at the Plough next week. The play is an interactive adaptation of Ibsen's An Enemy Of The People.
The drama, which is set in the South West in the heart of a close-knit community, explores a modern scenario: an ethical business discovers it is contributing to deforestation.
Part of the script will have been created in workshops with the involvement of the North Devon community. Local actors will form the chorus and the audience will get to vote on ethical and practical options.
This adaptation is the first UK winner of the Ibsen Scholarship, awarded by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture.
