A bail jumper has admitted burgling a Holsworthy butchers after being tracked down by police.
James Clarke, aged 21, went missing from his home in North Devon after failing to appear at Exeter Crown Court earlier this year.
He was arrested last week and is now remanded in custody after admitting absconding.
Clarke, whose last local address is Tuckers Place, Holsworthy, also admitted a burglary at Perkins butchers in the town in which three charity collecting tins were stolen.
Recorder Mr William Andreae-Jones adjourned his sentence for a report by probation officers.
